Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
May. 14th, 2009 10:17 pmI'm doing this to help out
babytoaster. She's trying to win a contest. The idea is to get the word out that the book Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater is coming out soon. Here is the synopsis of the book:
For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf--her wolf--is a chilling presence she can't seem to live without. Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter, the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a fearless girl. In summer, a few precious months of being human . . . until the cold makes him shift back again.
Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away. It's her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears, Sam must fight to stay human--or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.

Pre-Order Here!
I would have posted this sooner, but I felt funny never having read her work. I went to the library, and checked out her book Lament. It's a good read. The action is fast, and her characters are very likable. It's a great fantasy novel that I am really enjoying. That said, I feel comfortable posting about her new book.
Here is the author's website if you are interested:
